Many of the tourist attractions in Isle of Wight are very children friendly, including a number of the Isle of Wight's museums, art galleries and exhibitions, which often feature interactive attractions and displays specifically aimed at children. There are also numerous family attractions throughout the Isle of Wight that are quite varied, and these range from water parks with swimming pools and slides, to zoos and play centres for younger children on the Isle of Wight.
On sunny days, the Isle of Wight's parks and garden provide a popular place for children to play and many of the Isle of Wight's parks are particularly suitable for children on the Isle of Wight, with attractions including playground areas, children's swings and slides.

Sandown Zoo is located close to the busy Sandown area of the Isle of Wight and is one of the most popular tourist attractions on the island for families and children. Attractions at the Isle of Wight's Sandown Zoo include tigers, black panthers, leopards and pumas. There are also many other exotic animals at Sandown Zoo, including lemurs, monkeys, reptiles, birds, insects and giant spiders.
